I'm making a throwback transmog, burning crusade style, and I prefer everything rare rare armour, legendary bow, rare mounts, rare pet but only what was available to people at the release of the Burning Crusade expansion.
What was the rarest pet introduced in BC? Was it a certain skinned Warpstalket, a unique skinned Ravager? I wasn't capped when I played then, but I want to represent its glory even though I liked WotLK more, BC had much more style, and had less negatives overall also.
Re: Rarest pet from Burning Crusade? Unread post by Torachi » Mon Jan 05, am Huh. Oddly enough, when I really think about BC, I don't remember too many "rare" pets in that expansion. There were some lesser seen pets, but they weren't rare mobs, just not common tames. Ironjaw comes to mind, for one. At the time, he was a unique skin, but also a quest mob, so he was usually always up. This guy always pops into my head when I think rare, seeing as I never saw him during BC, both tamed and wild.
Never really saw this guy, either, since he's in Sunwell Plateau, and you probably needed help from your guild to get to him. I'm rather terrible at these things, though. Since that's when Meta gems were a big thing and all. I remember I had to get a helm with some special meta gem in it that would proc as I spammed aspects..
So if glitch pets count, I would say that would be one of the rarest. He's quite a challenge to find since he has an insanely long spawn timer. Though if we wanna go by BC standards, no hunter would've used him anyway.
I believe during BC, most people used only cats and wolves as well as devilsaurs and ravagers. So if you really want to be a pure BC set, you'd probably want to go with a pet that most people used back then. Ironjaw would be an excellent choice or a ravager. Unread post by Kyonarai » Mon Jan 05, am Grim totem spirit guide would have been the "rarest" in terms of difficult to get, but is no longer available But Karoma looks the same!
For the first time, Hunters in Shadowlands can tame Cloud Serpents, but Elegon surprisingly does not count as one of these.
It's under the Spirit Beast designation instead and is therefore only tamable by Beast Mastery Hunters. The Duskcloak Panthera is the first beast listed here that requires specific steps to tame. While traveling Argus, hunters may get an exclusive rare drop called Fresh Talbuk Meat. Then, the player must make sure they have no followers and make sure no other players are nearby to interfere with the taming process.
Avoid getting aggro and use the Fresh Talbuk Meat on the Panthera and then attempt the tame. It will fail if you have aggro or don't aim the Fresh Talbuk Meat correctly. Skarr and Karkin are a rare panther and crab that spawn in the Molten Front.
They spawn in the same locations but at different times, about 12 hours in between spawns on average. The hunter must go to the top of Fireplume Peak a trial in and of itself and then find the spawn points on the bottom right of the Fireplume Peak area.
Then, the taming process is pretty simple. They will cast spells that interrupt the tame , so be sure to disengage and silence the rare before continuing the tame.
As long as it's completed, you'll have your very own red-eyed chromium beast! Lightning Paw is one of the hardest rares to find not because of a weird location but because it is stealthed at all times.
This blue ethereal fox has a chance to spawn all across Duskwood but especially in bushes with eyes. These are visible from far away and can be checked quickly with a flying mount. It's an easy tame but be sure to keep Track Hidden on for extra stealth detection. Loque'Nahak is an infamous tamable beast from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. It is on a very long respawn timer, making it a hotly contested tame, and can spawn all across Sholazar Basin. This site makes extensive use of JavaScript.

Comments Comment by ToviValdora Did I miss the part where they recommend what you should spend training points on? Do I spend 50 points in Natural Armor? I wasn't going to worry about Dash on my raiding pet but maybe I'm wrong on that. I wasn't sure if Cobra Reflexes was a good idea because I might Focus starve my pet. I also wasn't going to bother with Cower since I should be MDing but again, I might be wrong on that too.
Any advice would be appreciated. Edit: Forgot to add I'm just asking about a Ravager for raiding and dungeons. I'm fine with my pvp and solo pet. Comment by Shoemojohnson I thought wolves were the best pets for raiding because of Furious Howl , or am I wrong about that? Is this guide saying that ravager is the best for solo content? Comment by Stako Why is bite needed for a ravager?
